To clean up your social media profiles and followings, simply mass unfollow Twitter users and then refresh your account from zero. 2 – Brand Your Social Accounts
Facebook, Twitter, and other platforms will set you up with a default background and profile image when you first get started. If you want to gain a loyal and trusted following, it’s important that you brand each of your social profile accounts with a way that matches how your other websites, blogs and personal brand look online. A perfect example of this is to use your logo design as your social profile image or also creating a custom social image background or header to match your theme or business model.
3 – Create a Conversation, Not Just a Message
When creating content for social media and sending a message out to your audience, don’t always focus on a promotional message or just a way to make money. Nobody wants to follow a commercial or advertising account that is just trying to make money off their audience. Be sure to provide value through original resources, fun quotes or pictures your audience might enjoy, or simply asking an open ended question and trying to get some audience feedback.
